List of open-source health software

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_open-source_health_software

We think we should integrate RACHEL:

http://dev.worldpossible.org/cgi/viewmod.pl?module_id=84

all this stuff can be placed in addition onto a USBHDD

About costs: How much?

Re-calculation must be done further, but:

A maximum of 120 € (incl. Raspi, USB Disk 1 TB, power supply)

What you need in addition to display local is just a tablet, phablet or a WiFi connected PC.

Raspberry Pi 3 is now a standalone openEMR WiFi-Server

we succeded!
Raspberry Pi 3 is now a standalone openEMR WiFi-Server

you can login with multiple Phones, tablets, phablets, PCs, what so ever via WiFi/WLAN and access openEMR

now next step:
implementation of USB harddisk oder SSD

:)

some tricks

some tricks were necessary, because php7 is not implemented in phpmyadmin and in rasbian jessy distribution.

These links were very very helpful for this quick n dirty experimental production:

Thank you very much!!

next step:

  • replacing this quick n dirty solution by a clean one... time consuming... but necessary
  • porting this stuff onto a 1 TB USB harddisk...
  • adding a stand alone wifi hotspot with inbuilt wifi-circuit
  • we don't need internet access... in cameroun internet is not so cheap... there is not enough competition

this should work some days

so my friend can use it in Cameroun

openEMR 4.2.2 - php7(!) - raspberry pi 3 - working fine

openEMR 4.2.2 - php7(!) - raspberry pi 3 - working fine now

Ndoungué - Kamerun

Ndoungue - Cameroon, where landscape looks like.... and is also very fertile!

1st challenges

  • we succeded installing in in conventional webspace
  • but
  • you will need php v 7.0
  • v 7.0 is not delivered as standard for raspbian jessy
  • we have to find a workaround
  •
  •
  • but there is also a good news today
  • raspberry pi 3 operation system can be started by USB SSD / USB harddisk without unreliable micro sdcard
  • we want to produce a stand alone system without any internet access
  • because access in cameroune is very expensive

webinstallation succeded

What is the aim?

The aim of this project is to implement openEMR onto a Raspberry Pi 3!

We will report progress here!

Thx
